We are delighted to welcome one well behaved dog for which we charge an additional cleaning fee of £30. There are many delightful country walks straight from the cottage for you and your fury companion to enjoy. We do not allow dogs in the bedrooms and can provide a stair gate to help with this. We also ask that your flea prevention is up to date when you arrive.

We are delighted to welcome older guests and those with disabilities and feel we are ideally placed to meet you needs. We have a double bedroom downstairs and the bathroom is also downstairs. Apart from the entry threshold step and a step up from the vestibule the ground floor is on one level making it ideal for assisted wheelchair users. We have a grab rail for the shower and a shower seat to help reduce the risk of slipping in the shower. If you have any other needs that we can cater for please do get in touch. We want to be able to share the cottage with as many people as possible

Each bed will be made up with freshly laundered and ironed bedlinen and each guest will be provided with a good quality bath and hand towel. We also provide hand towels in the bathroom and WC and kitchen linen. Cot linen is available on request. We provide good quality  hand wash and shampoo, conditioner and body wash.  We have a well stocked larder with items such as oil, tea, coffee, sugar etc and we provide welcome goods such as milk, bread and butter. If you have any food allergies or special requirements please let us know. We have tried to make Uwch Y Môr a home from home and provide everything that you will need for an enjoyable holiday.

The cottage lies on the outskirts of Llanfairfechan and it takes about 5 minutes in the car or 20 minutes walking to get there (the road is quite steep). The village is blessed with an excellent co-op which stocks everything you would need to buy and there is a range of independent shops including a traditional butchers and an art gallery. There are several excellent cafes in the village and on the promenade and a variety of takeaway restaurants. There are also several pubs, the nearest of which is a 10 – 15 minute walk from the cottage.  You will find just about everything you need in Llanfairfechan and most of the major supermarkets will deliver to the cottage.

The cottage is suitable for all ages and we have hosted guests from young babies to seniors. For babies we can provide a travel cot with linen and a highchair and for toddlers a bottom stair gate is available. There is a good selection of books, DVDs and games suitable for all ages

We have parking for up to three cars and an EV charger. We charge for electricity at the same price we pay with a small uplift to cover the cost of the Monta service. We use the Monta app which you can download to pay for your electricity
